Here at Fusion Threads Co, we offer a variety of sustainably sourced, plant-based fabric blends that are thoughtfully chosen to best fit each garment. We believe that natural fibers are the only fabrics that belong on our bodies. They are more breathable, more heat responsive, more comfortable, and healthier for our skin: the body’s largest organ. We believe that what you put on your body is just as important as what you put in it!
Our collections feature both seasonal and 'seasonless' fabric blends.
Core Fabric Blends
A look at our seasonless fabric blends that are available year-round.
Hemp/Cotton Jersey
Durable, Structured, Supportive
This Blend is used for our fitted garments, such as bell bottoms, leggings, bike shorts, and overalls, that require a bit of structure.
Bamboo/Hemp Jersey
Drapey, Supportive, Balanced
This blend is used for many of our tops, skirts, kaftans, lounge pants and the garments that require durability, stretch, and drape.
Bamboo Jersey
Silky, Soft, Smooth
This blend is used for our dresses, shawls, sun hoodies, and the garments that require a lightweight, bouncy fabric.
Hemp/Cotton Jersey
Weight: Medium, 240 GSM
Content: 53% Hemp, 44% Cotton and 3% Spandex
Feel & Features: This blend is soft and stretchy yet sturdy. Initially, it may feel a bit course or stiff due to the nature of hemp fibers but will soften beautifully over time and only gets better with age. Garments made in this blend will form fit to your body with every wear, making these pieces like a second skin.
Why We Love It: Hemp is superior for its sustainability and durability. It wicks moisture away from the body, keeping you cool and dry and allowing your skin to breathe.
Washing Instructions: Wash with a gentle detergent in cool water then line dry followed by a quick fluff in the dryer on low heat.
Heavy Hemp/Cotton Jersey
Weight: Heavy, 300 GSM
Content: 53% Hemp, 44% Cotton and 3% Spandex
Feel & Features: This fabric shares the same content as the medium weight blend but with more structure and support. While it is slightly less stretchy, it still offers a comfortable fit. This blend has a smoother hand-feel and provides more stability, making it ideal for garments that require extra durability.
Why We Love It: It is perfect for more structured garments like our Boho Bells, Leggings, and Banded Bike Shorts. The stretch ensures comfort, but the added strength allows for longevity.
Washing Instructions: Wash with a gentle detergent in cool water then line dry followed by a quick fluff in the dryer on low heat to maintain its shape and structure.
Bamboo/Hemp Jersey
Weight: Medium, 240 GSM
Content: 65% Bamboo Viscose, 30% Hemp and 5% Spandex
Feel & Features: This fabric offers the perfect balance of softness, structure, and stretch. Bamboo provides a silky, fluid drape, while hemp adds subtle texture and structure. The content and weight of this blend ensures that the garments retain their shape over time without feeling too heavy.
Why We Love It: Breathable and Bouncy! This blend is featured in our Skirts, Dresses and Kaftans. The combination of bamboo’s softness and drape with hemp’s strength creates a fabric that is ideal for the garments that require both fluidity and structure.
Washing Instructions: Wash with a gentle detergent in cool water and then line dry to retain the integrity of these fibers.
Heavy Bambo/Hemp Jersey
Weight: Heavy, 300 GSM
Content: 65% Bamboo Viscose, 30% Hemp and 5% Spandex
Feel & Features: This heavier blend provides increased structure compared to the medium weight version. It features a very smooth hand-feel and maintains a beautiful drape while offering extra support and coverage.
Why We Love It: Smooth and Supportive. This fabric is perfect for many of our core designs such as the Ruffled Shorties, Wanderess Wrap-Tops, and Luz Lounge Pants. Its enhanced opacity and durability make it ideal for pieces that need both strength and fluidity.
Washing Instructions: Wash with a gentle detergent in cool water. Line dry then fluff on low heat. This fabric will feel very heavy when wet due to its weight.
Bamboo Jersey
Weight: Medium, 240 GSM
Content: 95% Bamboo Viscose, 5% Spandex
Feel & Features: This fabric is incredibly silky, soft, stretchy, and has a stunning sheen. Its exceptional drape and bounce make it ideal for flow-y, relaxed pieces such as our Summer Slip Dresses, Sun Hoodies, and Hooded Shawls.
Why We Love It: Bamboo’s natural softness and breathability make it exceptionally comfortable to wear. Its built in thermoregulating properties keep you cool and fresh while the UPF 50+ rating ensures sun protection.
Washing Instructions: Wash with a gentle detergent in cool water and then line dry to retain the integrity of these fibers. Do not put garments in the dryer.

Bamboo/Hemp Stretch Fleece
Durable, Cozy, Warm
This Blend is used for our cozy winter staples such as our leggings, lounge pants, and outerwear.
Bamboo/Hemp French Terry
Drapey, Soft, Textured
This blend is used for many of our tops, cardigans, lounge pants, hoodies and more! Terry is an excellent substitute for our core blends during colder weather.
Bamboo/Cotton Velour
Lush, Velvety, Luxurious
This blend is used for special, glamorous garments that don't require any stretch.
Heavy Bambo/Hemp Stretch Fleece
Weight: Heavy, (Dyed) 340 GSM, (Black) 380 GSM
Content: 50% Bamboo Viscose, 45% Hemp and 5% Spandex
Feel & Features: This fabric offers a plush, cozy feel with a natural softness thanks to bamboo. The hemp adds durability, creating a fabric that is both warm and breathable. Its slight stretch ensures comfort while retaining its shape, making it perfect for layering throughout the winter.
Why We Love It: Plush and Cozy. Bamboo/Hemp Fleece combines warmth with breathability, making it an ideal blend for the cooler months. We love how it is so soft yet strong.

Heavy Bambo/Hemp French Terry
Weight: Heavy, (Dyed) 320 GSM, (Black) 355 GSM
Content: 65% Bamboo Viscose, 30% Hemp, 5% Spandex
Feel & Features: This heavy french terry blend is ultra-soft with a smooth texture on the outside and a cozy, looped interior. It offers excellent structure and stretch, giving a supportive fit without sacrificing comfort. The fabric is breathable yet warm and is perfect for more substantial pieces that require flexibility and durability.
Why We Love It: This blend is an incredible balance of structure and stretch. It provides the right amount of support for form-fitting garments while also having a beautiful, fluid drape.
